Our Classes
Forest School
Fall Session
🌲Forest School is a once a week experience for kids ages 5-10 that focuses on immersing kids in nature, observing and learning about the natural world seasonally, playing nature awareness games, crafting and creating, being out in all weather, learning beginning survival skills, and getting space and time for imaginative play and free exploration. We believe the bonds formed with each other and nature are of utmost importance. We strive to work together as a team, help all children feel welcome and supported, and to assist them in becoming more independent, curious, caring, creative, and thoughtful through nature’s many experiences.
Cost: $285
This is an 8 week session starting on September 10th and ending on October 29th. Classes are Thursdays from 12-4 at Marshall Mountain Park.
Stone Age Survival
Fall Session
🍁Stone Age Survival is meant to train youth, ages 10-14, to become survivalists, trackers, hunters, gatherers, and recreators as they create meaningful connections with the natural world. Students learn principles that apply just as much in their own life as in the outdoors. Depending on the time of year and the unique interests of the group, we will get into a wide variety of basic survival and awareness skills needed to feel at home in the wild: Shelters, Fire Building, Throwing Atlatls, Bow and Arrows, Knife work, Naturalist Studies, Increasing Dexterity, and more. As always, we have a ton of fun along the way.
